Danni is one of the most prominent female artists on the UK Americana scene, and what's more she has been a trailblazer of this brand of music in the UK for the last decade. Danni is an award nominated, one in a million singer/songwriter and her beautifully crafted records are infused with the spirit of Nashville (most likely as they were all recorded there!). In this live stream performance, Danni will be performing as a trio alongside previous touring partners, the “Northern Cowboys”, AKA Mark Lewis (bass) and Thomas Dibb (guitar, piano).

Hailing from Bedfordshire, England, growing up on the American roots music of her Anglo-Indian grandmother’s record collection, singer/songwriter Danni Nicholls has been paving her way in UK Americana for over a decade, building a loyal fan base and much critical praise.
With the wind still in her sails from three consecutive Americana Music Association UK award nominations (Album, Artist and Song of the year in 2017, 2018 & 2020 respectively) plus extensive tours and opening slots with the likes of The Secret Sisters, Shakin' Stevens and Lucinda Williams, Danni, her powerful, arresting voice and her dynamically poetic original songs are ever-gaining presence and reach.
Having released two acclaimed albums - A Little Redemption and Mockingbird Lane with Chris Donohue (Emmylou Harris) at the helm and some of Nashville’s finest musicians in the band…2019 saw the release of Danni's third studio album The Melted Morning.
